About Us

Baoding Tianwei Electric Wire Co., Ltd. (BTEW) is one of the subsidiaries of Baoding Tianwei Group Co., Ltd. with independent legal rights. BTEW is a manufacturer that mainly produces transformer electromagnetic wires which was set up in 1968. Now our total asset is 218 million RMB and register capital is 45 million RMB. Our output value was up to 2.19 hundred million in 2005.

Baoding Tianwei Electric Wire Co., Ltd. (BTEW) is now located in Tianwei Industrial Park of Baoding High-tech Industrial Development Zone, which covers 35772 square meters. After the Second Phase of Extension Project in 2006, it will increase production area to 5000 square meters. Now the entire processing environment in company is clean, airtight and the temperature is controlled by central air conditioner. BTEW possesses extruding lines and enameling which are first-class in the world, and an NC line which is unique in the world are used to produce ventilated continuous transposed conductors (CTC). BTEW has an annual production capacity of 7000T CTC and 7000T combined wires and paper wrapped wires.

BTEW has a large number of specialized personnel who can make, test transformers and research, make and test electromagnetic wires. Besides, there is also strong technical support from Tianwei Group. As a result, since 1998, we have successfully developed series of transformer electromagnetic wires on the basis of paper wrapped single conductors and paper wrapped combined conductors. Our company have successively developed more than ten kinds of new products, such as polyacetal enameled flat copper conductors, polyester enameled flat copper conductors, polyamide-imide enameled flat copper conductors, heat-bonding enameled flat copper conductors, enameled semi-hard heat-bonding flat copper, heat-bonding CTC, heat-bonding semi-hard CTC, netting heat-bonding semi-hard CTC, semi-hard paper-wrapped single conductors, semi-hard paper-wrapped combined conductors, reactor-used paper wrapped conductors and electromagnetic wires for shell-transformer. Our technical level is among the highest in China and our products are mainly used for 220kV, 500kV, 1000kV transformers, super-voltage, high-capacity transformers and 500kV reactors. Especially, we have possessed independent intellectual property right of the netting heat-bonding CTC and its independent manufacturing technology has been approved by State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) for the patent. Now the netting heat-bonding CTC has become a leading product of BTEW and the main motive force for our economic growth.

BTEW has been persisting in the principle of "to win market with quantity, to develop with innovation, to get profits with management", and will unify the programs, use resources reasonably, keep development continuously, and do our best to create an electromagnetic wire production base which will take lead in China and be first-class in the world.
