Chongqing Minmetal and Machinery Import and Export Co. Ltd., founded in 1983 and restructured in 2003, is a leading foreign trade company with an up-to-date system, specializing in three areas: international import and export and technology sector; overseas engineering project contracting sector (including exporting materials, dispatching complete set of equipment and arranging labor for overseas projects); as well as operating a domestic sector.
With the growth of over twenty years, the combined value of international and domestic trade exceeds 250 million US dollars, which is made up of USD 100 million in exports and USD 80 million in imports. Our company ranks at the top 15 enterprises and top the professional foreign trade company in Chongqing City, in terms of exports.
Our company is made up of ten business departments and has eight overseas representative offices in the USA, Germany, Argentina, South Africa, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and France. An information and sales network extends to Japan, South Korea, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, , and Africa, including more than 70 countries and regions. The company develops the diversity of business, including managing international trade for domestic manufacturers, trading by itself and acting as an overseas agent. There are four main types of products metallic, such as ferrous metal, nonferrous metal, ferro-alloy metal and so on; complete set of equipment; electromechanical, such as electronic product, general machinery, marine and crane equipment, hardware, welding material and magnet; and chemical industrial.

We invest several manufacturing companies by holding controlling shares and partial shares, through which we have possessed the exclusive authority to export and import their commodities, such as Chongqing Yusheng Steel Wire Rope Co., Ltd., Chongqing Minmetal Welding Materials Co., Ltd., Xichang Zinc Industry Co., Ltd., Komec (Shenzhen) Industries Co., Ltd., and Sound Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. We also establishes strategic partnerships with many manufacturing enterprises, which have become our production base for export products; Moreover we build long-term cooperation with many experienced designing institutions and equipment manufacturers, developing our own capabilities of management, coordination and organization of international engineering project.
