About Us

Zhejiang Linhai Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. is located in the middle of the coastal city-Linhai of Zhejiang Province. Linhai City is a national historic and cultural city with a history of more than two thousand years, and also a national tourism city and national sanitation city. Linhai possesses the national geology park with the title of Badaling of South Changjiang River, and links Luqiao Airport and Shujiang Port. We are only two hours' drive away from Hangzhou City with convenient transportation.

We are a medium-scale enterprise, specializing in producing medium and small water wheel generators, with the former name-Linhai Electric Machinery Factory, set up in the early of 1966.

In Oct., 2000, our company was established with the state-owned form. Now there are more than 500 employees in our company, among whom 48 are project technicians including 10 senior engineers and 15 junior engineers and 82 have professional technical posts. Our company is equipped with 201 experiment equipment of power, metallography cutting, forging, foundry, heat treatment, and line cutting, including 27 large-scale equipment. Our factory covers an area of 55,200 square meters including the building area of 17,800 square meters.

Our company produces water wheel generators, small synchronous generators, diesel generators, libration generators and various castings with annual throughput of 300,000kw and registered brand Shanying.

The management of our company continuously develops into the science orientation. Through constant efforts we have obtained quality and quality management certifications and CCC Certification. In Dec. of 2001 we passed the evaluation of ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification.

Our company insists on the principle of "tightening the management, improving the grade, and fully boosting the enterprise quality" and achieves success. We were awarded as Local Advanced Enterprise in 1988, Provincial Advanced Enterprise in 1989, National Secondary Enterprise issued by Ministry of Electrical Machinery in 1990, National Medium-Scale Enterprise in 1997, and Self-Management Enterprise of Electrical Machinery Products by Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department of People's Republic of China in 1990.
