About Us
Being a large-scale stock enterprise, Ningbo Tianan Group Co., Ltd. is one of the state high and new technology enterprises, a leading one in the power transmission and distribution circle in Zhejiang Province. Established on the basis of State-owned Xiangshan H-V Electric Equipment Factory in 1994, we have two R&D institutes (centers) on developing electric equipment. Our group has more than 10 manufacturing factories and economic branches. With the total assets of USD55,487,000 and equity assets of USD40,690,000, our facilities cover an area of about 200,000 square meters. There are more than 20 sales branch companies spread all over the country and more than 1,200 employees, including 470 engineers and technicians, working for our group. Our total output value has reached to USD49,322,000 and our sales turnover has been increased to USD44,390,000. As a result, we have come up to the first rank in the power transmission and distribution filed after 6 years' running.
We are not only one of the production and science research enterprises in the domestic HV power transmission and distribution circle, but also a well-known enterprise of box-type substation, ring main units and loaded switchgears in China. These three kinds of products were titled with "the biggest production and sales quantities, the most completed types and sizes and the most reliable quality". Till now, our products have been widely used in domestic market in some major projects and large-scale construction sites. Some have even been exported to European countries and Southeast Asian countries and regions.
Possessing many first-class production equipment and testing instruments, we have also imported more than 30 sets of world first class facilities from foreign countries and have over 10 automatic production lines. An ISO9001 certificate on quality control system has been granted to in 1997. With advanced science and technology level and excellent reputation, we have won more than 50 prizes awarded by National Ministries and local government. More than 6% of our sales income has been invested for R&D every year. Ningbo Electric Equipment R&D Institute, which belongs to our group, is a National May Day Labor Prize owner. This institute has successfully researched and developed about 70 kinds or types of new products in recent 3 years.
It is the main goal for us to become a modernized manufacturer of electric equipment with a capacity of complete sets on power transmission and distribution apparatus below 220kV in next 3 years.
