DDS28 single-phase static watt-hour meter is designed for measuring active energy in single-phase alternating current power grids by connecting up resident power supply system. It complies with the standard IEC 61036 and has high measurement accuracy. The meter is KEMA certified and the design can be tailored to different customer requirements.

1 Introduction
DDS28u single-phase multi-function PLC electronic watt-hour meter is designed for balancing electricity better as well as measuring household electric energy with time-sharing technology. It can measure active energy, communicate via remote infrared or PLC, freeze energy automatically in auto-read-day monthly and in auto-read-time daily, and so on.
Measuring the active energy accurately, the meter can be used as the terminal of the AMR system. It can communicate with concentrator, which is installed in the distribution substation, via PLC. It can send the data, for example energy information, to concentrator in semi-duplex mode. So it is an ideal option for measuring resident electric energy consumption, AMR system and measuring with time-sharing technology.

4 Function
4.1 Meter can measure active energy and reactive energy. And reactive energy will be plus to active energy automatically.
4.2 Multi-tariff function
4.2.1 One day can be divided maximally into 10 time periods. Each time period can choose one tariff from four. The maximal time error changing from one tariff to other is 1 second.
4.2.2 One year can be divided maximally into 4 seasons. Each season can choose one period-tariff table from four. The season can be set. The meter can change relative parameters automatically when the season is turning.
4.3 Energy frozen automatically
User can set the date and time of the user-read-day. Meter can freeze the total energy and the energy of every tariff at user-read-day of every month automatically. When it run in to a new user-read-day, the new freezing data will replace the old one in the storage of the meter. It can store six days of freezing daily data and eleven month of freezing monthly data at most.
4.4 History energy Record
Meter can store history energy data of 12 months, energy data of every tariff and the total number of days when meter has no load. All data can be accessed via infrared or PLC.
4.5 Event Log
It can record last five times of power down, including the total happening time of each event plus their respective latest five starting time and ending time.
4.6 Alarm
Meter has LCD alarm function, and it can alarm when voltage of the clock battery is too low or user operates falsely. When some part of the meter, for example the relay, works abnormally or the load of the meter is too large, meter also can alarm. All alarm information can be accessed via HHU or PLC.

5. Three Phase Electro-Mechanical Watt-hour Meter (DT58)
Product Description
General
The DT58 three-phase four-wire meter is designed to meet the latest IEC60521 and BS EN 60521 standards for measuring active energy in three-phase four-wire alternating current power grids. Connection is direct or by instrument transformers. The meter is KEMA certified. It has an average service life (MTTF) of 20 years and maximum overload capacity of 600%Ib.
1.Meter case
It meets the protection requirements set by protection class IP53 of IEC60529. The series types of cases and terminal covers are available.
2.Terminals & Terminal block
Terminals:
The connection terminals are made of nickel-plated brass with features of high mechanical strength, good conductivity and corrosion-resistance.
Terminal block:
The terminal block is injection molded of heat- and fire-resistant Bakelite. The voltage test link can be located inside or outside of the meter case.
3.Driving system
The driving system employs three single electromagnet elements, all of which are mounted on the meter frame with three screws. Each electromagnet element consists of voltage element, current element and connection board.
4.Rotor
The rotor shaft is turned of high strength aluminum alloy. The upper end of the shaft is pressed with a worm which is made of thermoplastic, and the lower end is embedded with a graphite bearing which is self-lubricate and friction-resistant to ensure long service life of the meter.
5.Braking element
The magnet is made of AlNiCo5 alloy and designed as U-shaped so that the effect of short time over currents upon the magnet is negligible. A temperature compensation plate, made of a special alloy, is embedded in the braking magnet. The rotor speed can be adjusted largely and continuously by rotating the whole magnet.
6.Frame
The frame is die-casted by high quality SiAl alloy. Its structure is designed as W-shaped of stable property to avoid distortion, and its surface is treated with chromate to achieve reliable and durable coating against oxidation.
7.Upper bearing
The pin is made of abrasion-proof stainless steel, and pressed into the brass sleeve. It is the rotor guide and runs in the plastic worm of the rotor.
8.Lower bearing
The magnetic suspension bearing consists of two ring shaped magnets, a guide pin and a bearing base. The pin made of stainless steel runs in the graphite sleeve of the rotor. No lubrication is needed.
9.Register
The cyclometer type register consists of six drums. It can be read directly. The drum is made of polycarbonate. The framework is embedded with a high-strength self-lubricating plastic bearing. No lubrication of bearings is needed during the service life.
